Heritage Malta Presents Maritime Archaeology Livestream Masterclass

Heritage Malta will livestream on Facebook the Underwater Archaeological Sites masterclass, on the 24th June at 6:30 pm. The event will focus on the maritime archaeology in Malta during the 21st century and it will be held by Professor Timmy Gambin, head of the Underwater Cultural Heritage Unit.

Heritage Malta Presents Maritime Archaeology Livestream Masterclass

During the lecture, Professor Gambin will discuss how maritime archaeology is developing, showing new opportunities to researchers and students. In addition, it will be introduced the innovative system Malta has implemented in order to ensure that the islands’ submerged cultural heritage is shared with the general public, both locally and globally.
