Festival Mediterranju tal-Letteratura ta' Malta to Take Place at the End of August

After a forced time off, Maltese Inizjamed Festival will come back this year on the 27th and 28th of August at Fort St. Elmo in Valletta.

The Festival will showcase six authors from various places of birth and residences: Miriam Calleja; Ghayath Almadhoun; Leanne Ellul; Inua Ellams; Jhon Portelli; Katerina Iliopoulou. The readings will be mostly in Maltese and English, but some short works will also be read in their original language. Literature will be accompanied with music, through the singer-songwriters invited and the resident musicians.
